"The place is amazing. And staff as well. Food is one of the best we had even if it’s a little expensive (but there are no other options near by) Definitely a recommended place to stay. We did hiking nice and calm place. Stay here if you are thinking about it"

"The ultimate relaxing weekend, my partner and I enjoyed every moment. Favorite activity was kayaking around the lake, watching the fish jump, enjoying the end of the Alaskan summer. This would be a great place to stop on the way to or from Valdez, and we will definitely make this a yearly getaway. Right off the highway but still private, didn’t see anyone else on the lake. Clean and fully stocked with everything we didn’t know we even needed. Super kind hosts who obviously love showing off this state and the cabin life- the property feels truly Alaskan- rustic but beautiful, quirky touches, outdoorsy- and the pride of ownership shows through. Thank you for a wonderful and memorable trip to Lodge 88, we will be back!"
